Elliot Page recently signed on as the executive producer of the Italian transgender documentary Nel Mio Nome (Into My Name) by director and producer Nicolò Bassetti, which is set to premiere at the 2022 Berlin Film Festival in the Panorama Dokumente section. The doc is based on Bassetti’s personal experience of his child’s transition. It follows the lives of four friends who are transitioning and offers an intimate look at the universal struggle of being trans in a world that can’t see beyond the artifice of sex and gender. Page told The Hollywood Reporter about the upcoming documentary, “It’s a meditation on trans humanity, and I’ve never seen another film like it.”
