Marvel Studios’ first superhero sitcom was WandaVision. Kicking off the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Four, the first episode of the series imagined Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and her husband Vision (Paul Bettany) in a 1950s sitcom without any form of explanation. As the episodes progressed, head writer Jac Schaeffer expertly bewitched MCU fans with the first several episodes before getting to the question of what really happened to Wanda after losing Vision.
